About Teryl Designs

A southern California native, Teryl Ciarlo grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the coast. California and its native plants have been a large inspiration to her landscape and garden designs. Teryl currently resides in Brentwood and has become the go-to designer of the West Side. Her gardens make a statement because of clean lines and symmetry. “I learned gardening at an early age from my Grandmother. I loved helping her prepare for parties, setting up all of the floral arrangements on tables and patios, and helping to create a warm and welcoming environment for her guests. She was my inspiration to become a landscape designer and I am forever thankful. I truly love my job and my clients.” Teryl brings many years of experience to the designs she creates for private residences and commercial properties. From small patio gardens to full scale multi-acre landscapes, Teryl takes great pride and care in selecting the plant species and design accents that will create a warm and inviting area for entertaining. When designing a garden, the first element Teryl considers is the style of the home. She considers congruity of home style and landscape design to be paramount. “The landscape or garden must compliment the home and the surrounding environment.” Teryl works with homeowners to fulfill their wishes and goals of creating the landscape of their dreams … One beautiful garden at a time.
